Bind-X Journey
Foundation 2013
Company established as Dust BioSolutions with the vision to develop sustainable biological alternatives for dust control.
First industrial trials2016
Successful pilot projects in mining proved that biology could outperform traditional methods while saving water and reducing costs.
Rebranding2020
Dust BioSolutions became Bind-X, reflecting an expanded mission: binding industries to a sustainable future.
Series A & Award2021
Series A financing supported production expansion and international growth. Bind-X also won the Eramet Responsible Mining Challenge.
Expansion to Africa2022
A production facility and commercial hub opened in Samrand, South Africa, serving global clients and the mining industry in the Copperbelt.
Global scale-up2025
Backed by a new investor, Bind-X is accelerating global roll-out, expanding into Australia, and scaling its dust control solutions for the mining industry.

The construction sector is booming worldwide as the world’s population grows. With this comes dramatic growth in dust pollution and water consumption. Our biological dust control products can reduce water consumption and dust fallout in construction & infrastructure projects.
Agriculture and weed control
Population growth is also increasing demands on the global agriculture industry. Most weed control methods rely on chemical herbicides that create health risks and environmental harm. Our biological technology creates a physical semi-permeable layer within the soil that impedes the growth of weeds. It’s a highly effective and safe way to make farming more sustainable.
